Originally from the Czech Republic, my family fled the country in 1985 to escape Communism. After living in three refugee camps in various countries, my Aunt was our gracious sponsor who helped us get into California, where I continue to live.

 ​My beginnings in the Film industry started in the camera and g&e department on feature and short films. Current projects range from features, short films, commercials and music videos.  My education was swift, I attended a local community college and finished the film program they offered, I attribute my film education to mentors in the industry and working directly in the business. When I'm not working you can find me exploring the local LA mountains on my bike. I have my Father to thank for being a inspiration and role model to my career as a Cinematographer.
